FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses 2023

During the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses 2023, the Belgian Championship for Seniors also took place that weekend. Niels and the 10-year-old daughter of Thunder vd Zuuthoeve, Nauwsika van de Pereboom had an outstanding presentation. On their first big championship, she showcased all her talent and her strength landing a 4th place in the first qualification on Wednesday. Second qualification on Thursday, with one down they managed to stay on the top 10.  The best 16 combinations from the two qualifiers on Wednesday and Thursday will then appear in the ring on the final on Saturday. Still in great form, after two amazing rounds with one down in the first round they ended with an overall 6th place in the Belgian Championship.

The FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses 2023 concluded with a highlight on the 7yo horses. Diamond Quality, the current Belgian Champion of the 7yo horses, continued his clear round strike with two fantastic clears on both qualifications of his age class. Unfortunately, the time accumulation points didn’t allow Niels and Diamond to make if onto the Sundays 7yo final.

It was overall a fantastic weekend for the horses and the team! Now all our focus an energy goes to CSIO Barcelona, where Niels and Deluxe van T&L will be representing Belgium in the Nations Cup Team.
